My directing practice is rooted in a deep belief that storytelling is medicinal—that it has the capacity to restore, reveal, and reimagine how we relate to one another. I am invested not only in the final product, but in the process: how collaborators come together to build something grounded in dignity, rigor, reciprocity, and a sustained commitment to centering those most often pushed to the margins.

Aesthetically, my work leans toward a subtle whimsy, anchored by thoughtfully constructed, live-generated soundscapes that immerse audiences and invite them into an active witnessing of the story. I'm interested in creating environments where the sensory experience deepens emotional and intellectual engagement—where the world of the play feels both expansive and intentional.

I am increasingly drawn to directing in opera, television, and film—forms that offer scale, texture, and visual storytelling possibilities that resonate with my sensibilities. While my formal experience has been grounded in theater, my approach to story, composition, and leadership translates across mediums, and I'mm eager to bring that perspective into these spaces with curiosity, rigor, and collaborative care.
